Data Mining/Analytics Intern

Job Type: Intern

We’re looking for students with strong quantitative backgrounds, who are be able to learn quickly and work independently. This is the perfect job for people who want to make a significant impact and see their products serving millions of users. You will leverage a wide array of technologies including distributed databases, Hadoop, Pig, Voldemort (distributed key-value store developed at LinkedIn), Java, SQL, Python, and R. Previous experience with processing large data sets is desired, and skills such as advanced statistics, data mining, machine learning, information retrieval, data visualization, and scientific programming are preferred.
